Rosmalen at night.

I found the lights on the trees beautiful and I wanted to create the atmosphere.

Technical

I tried to use strong colours to create the effect. I found it to be a good exercise in better observation. For example I couldn't paint the leaves of the trees green, I needed to paint them in the colour of the light to make the effect stronger.

The ground was more purple than I had originally intended, but I left it be, and after a while I found it worked well with the painting so I left it with a strong colour.

Sometimes I thought about adding people to the painting. But I found the calmness of the painting soothing so I left it be.
